AESA is proud to support the EU Delegation in Liberia as Lead Firm of a major Technical Assistance (TA) initiative, implemented in collaboration with our partners PROMAN and WHH. The project focuses on strengthening food and nutrition security by promoting the development of accountable, inclusive, and sustainable food systems throughout Liberia.

As part of the project’s activities, in December, AESA’s Technical Assistance team travelled to Ganta City in Nimba County to take part in the National Agriculture Fair, held under the inspiring theme “Empowering Farmers, Enriching the Nation.” The event provided a valuable platform to engage with farmers, institutions, and agri-food stakeholders, highlighting innovation, resilience, and the central role of agriculture in Liberia’s socio-economic development.

Through this initiative, AESA contributes to strengthening national capacities, supporting smallholder farmers, and fostering sustainable value chains that improve livelihoods and enhance food and nutrition outcomes.

AESA is honoured to be at the forefront of efforts supporting the food sector in West Africa, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development and inclusive growth in Liberia.

This project is managed by AESA’s Africa Department, under the supervision of Senior Project Manager Giovanni Cervioni.
