Background & Objectives

• Contribute to achieving national occupational goals by ensuring decent employment for all, including   women and young people.

• Contribute to the implementation of a programme to support active employment policies in the country;   and

• Contribute to the implementation of the TVET reform according to international quality standards.

Activities

• Institutional empowerment for sectors with supervisory   roles over TVET and support for the Programme management

• Support the preparation of preliminary and definitive projects to launch the calls for tenders for acquisition of equipment and rehabilitation of school infrastructurs

Results

Result 1 – At least ten (10) technical-vocational training centres accredited in accordance with the national standards as provincial reference institutes, capable of generating a relevant training offer consistent with the job demand for 27,000 users .

Result 2 – Two (2) world-class higher education centres for teachers and managers of technical institutes, equipped and established in different geographical areas of the country.

Result 3 – Three (3) provincial employment services, fully operational and capable of complementing the job demand circuit and providing useful information to schools so they can adapt their training offer to the   needs of the labour market by carrying out demand analysis, professional guidance and employment   referral.
