Background & Objectives
- Brazil and the EU established a Strategic Partnership in 2007, built on shared values like democracy and human rights. Relaunched in 2023, it emphasizes energy, climate, and mobility cooperation, supported by high-level meetings and the Sector Dialogues Support Facility to strengthen ties.
- To develop the EU-Brazil bilateral relations in line with the EU Strategic Partnership with Brazil, the EU Global Gateway Strategy, the Americas and the Caribbean Regional Multiannual Indicative Programme 2021-2027 and other.
Activities
- The contractor will support the EU Delegation by identifying priorities, defining activities, and organizing sector dialogues, mobilizing experts, and preparing thematic studies. Responsibilities include ensuring gender-sensitive and environmentally sustainable solutions.
- Experts will provide technical input through analyses, action plans, and reports. The contractor will also manage logistics for events, including travel, accommodations, and technical setups, ensuring inclusive participation.
- All activities will align with EU priorities, with a focus on sustainability, complementarity with other EU actions, and adherence to best practices.
Results
- Promote mutual understanding by advancing public policies in priority areas between the EU and Brazil.
- Identify and develop new areas of joint interest within existing dialogues.
- Support actions fostering mutual interests, such as human rights, green transition, market access, and digital cooperation, while raising awareness of the EU-Brazil Strategic Partnership.
