Alessandro Paoloni, Head of the Africa Department at AESA, and Giovanni Cervioni, Senior Project Manager, have just returned from Abidjan, where they carried out a backstopping mission as part of the “Programme d’Appui aux Systèmes Alimentaires Durables en Côte d’Ivoire”, a key initiative managed by AESA in the country.
🍽️ The programme is designed to enhance sustainable food production, strengthen the resilience of local food systems, and above all, empower smallholder farmers by improving access to knowledge, tools, and opportunities.
🌿 Thanks to Côte d’Ivoire’s rich and diverse agro-ecological conditions, the project supports the development of strong local agriculture capable of meeting community needs and improving livelihoods in rural areas.
Since 2018, AESA has been working alongside national stakeholders to promote agriculture-led development, contributing to economic growth and poverty reduction 📈🤝.
Proud to support the farmers of Côte d’Ivoire in building a more sustainable and inclusive future! 🌱✨
