Description of the project and Services provided:
Within the scope of the general objective, the Technical Assistance (TA) will help the government of Myanmar to prepare the project.
More specifically, the consulting team will work together with other international specialists (livelihood/team leader, community development, procurement, economist, and climate change specialists) hired individually under the TA.
Particularly with:

assisting loan processing and implementation startup for the ensuing loan to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar;

designing and incorporating resilience strengthening elements in the project;

developing the monitoring and evaluation framework, targeting protocols, grant allocation formula, and baseline studies for the project;
-
formulating the capacity building plan and conducting the training of trainers;
-
conducting due diligence on the economic and financial feasibility of the project;
-
conducting financial management and procurement capacity assessment;
-
assessing the impacts on poverty, social and gender;
-
conducting due diligence and prepare safeguards requirements; and
-
preparing project documents, including the draft report and recommendation of the President (RRP) and key linked documents.
The results issued are:

Loan processing and implementation startup expedited;

Capacity building plan designed and implemented;

Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework and impact study designed.
