Description of the project and Services provided:
The general objective of the project is to speed up implementation of the Act on rural land ownership in Ivory Coast.
The specific objectives assigned to the technical assistance are as follows:

Facilitation of the operationalisation and the functioning of the Monitoring and Analysis Unit;

Support in calling on the services of experts for short periods to carry out studies, surveys, and workshops;

Strategic intelligence watch on land governance and support in speeding up implementation of the Act on rural land ownership
The results of the prpject are:

Rigorous planning and effective coordination of the implementation of the activities of the Monitoring and Analysis Unit;

High-quality preparation of the meetings of the Steering Committee and diligent follow-up of its recommendations;

Short-term expert investigations that are relevant and of a high level in response to the land governance issues identified;

Innovative proposals to the Monitoring and Analysis Unit on land governance and speeding up implementation of the Act on rural land ownership;

Rigorous and efficient management of the technical assistance budget in compliance with the procedures of the European Union;

An effective transfer of skills for ensuring the future of the Monitoring and Analysis Unit after the technical assistance has ended
