Technical Assistance to IDEAS - Lot 2: Technical Assistance to the Commisison on Revenue Allocation

Description of the project and Services provided:

The general objective of the project is to contribute to the implementation of the decentralization process and to support capacity building and institutional analysis of the Committee for the allocation of revenue at the national level and at the level of individual counties.

The specific purpose is to support the strenghtening of analytical and institutional capacity at the commission for revenue allocation in its advisory role to both the national and county governments.

The results of the project are:

• Improved the institutional  capacity at the CRA (Commission for Revenue Allocation) to support counties in county level revenue generation.
• Improved CRA databases to inform revenue allocation recommendations

The services provided are:

• Financial assessment
• Policy advice
• Technical Studies (architecture, engineering, industry, etc)
• Project/programme financing studies
• Data management and processing
• Budget preparation
