Support of Higher Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (ISAE) in the Development of Training of Modules and Implementation of Experimental Trials in the Areas of Agroforestry and Forestry, Phase II”, (PAREF.BE-2)

Description of the project and Services provided:

The Government of Rwanda has received a grant from the Kingdom of Belgium for the implementation of The Support Program to the Development of the Forestry Sector and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultancy services. The services include the support of ISAE in the development of training modules and implementation of experimental trials in the areas of agro-forestry and forestry. ISAE (2013-2015) Lot n°1:.

General Objective  - To implement a training module on agroforestry methods and techniques is developed and delivered to operators from the field by trainers from ISAE and by DFO / extensionists, practical works and trials in "school plots" and training supports/tools are available.

Specific Objective - Support ISAE (1) in the elaboration and provision of training modules on agroforestry/fruit trees management and (2) in the establishment of “school plots” and the implementation of trials and student practical works on agroforestry
