The project aimeded at providing assistance to the to the EAHC (Executive Agency for Health and Consumer) for the organisation and implementation of training activities under the programme “Better Training for Safer Food" to be mainly held in EU countries.
The initiative foresees four different work packages (WPs) :
• WP1: Control checks at border inspection posts
• WP2: Import controls on certain feed and food of non-animal origin
• WP3: Trade control and expert system (TRACES)
• WP4: Control of commercial and non-commercial movements of dogs and cats
A total of 42 training courses are implemented under the whole project. The Project is implemented in 12 different locations: Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Latvia, Hungary, Greece, Estonia, Slovenia, Portugal, and UK.
Agriconsulting Europe is responsible for the organisation of:
• 10 training courses on import controls on certain feed and food of non-animal origin (WP2) for a total of 500 participants (50 participants per training session). Locations: Riga (Latvia), Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Valencia (Spain), Genoa (Italy)
• 11 training courses on TRACES (WP3) for a total of 330 participants.
