This project was carried out under the Programme “Better Training for Safer Food Initiative ” financed by the Directorate General Health and consumers (DG SANCO) of the European Commission. It aims to build capacities of Member States, Third countries and Candidate Countries’ staff involved in official controls on EU food legislation.
The main activities under this project were:
• Implementation of technical assistance missions for competent authority
• Coordination of the implementation of the overall project, Reporting on project’s inception, progress and finalisation
• Timely mobilisation of qualified, experienced speakers and technical experts to ensure smooth operation of the project
• Organisation of training sessions: elaboration of training material, programme development and formatting
• Design of communication tools and elaboration of an internet web-site in order to promote events and BTSF objectives
• Gathering and analysing feedback and results of the workshops.
