Description of the project and Services provided:
This market objective aim at furnishing complementary necessary information to the formulation of the project Beydaare.
More specifically, the present mission has got for special purpose:

To provide a complementary feasibility study and deliverable sufficiently concrete allowing a confident start of the project thanks to a precise description of the activities, the highlight of a detailed budget, an overview of responsibilities, selection of beneficiaries’ criteria and eligible activities and procedures of routine.

To collect, in the same report « formulation document », the conclusions issued from the evaluation joint mission ex-ante with AFD-UE-SODAGRI (cf. memory aid in annex), the retained components in the first formulation report and that have been considered validated (installations, trakcs, etc.) and the complementary components retained at the end of the mission.

Environmental and Social Management Framework Plan (PCGS) carried out on the basis of a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) according to the plan and RDTs validated by the Senegalese authorities.

A monitoring-evaluation mechanism adapted to the intervention logic and which will allow a systematic follow-up of the implementation of the activities and the execution of the budget.

A detailed preliminary project and a tender dossier for the realization of the RN13-Daré Salam valley track (1km) and the rehabilitation of the structure on the RN6-AFIA track located in Tamba and evaluate the cost of their realization; and a detailed design and tender dossier for the runway through the Sambagara Valley.

Preliminary studies (APS) for devices to ensure the protection, especially against floods and winds, banana plantations along the Gambia River in the departments of Tambacounda and Vélingara, by proposing various possible options and their unit costs while prioritizing solutions whose cost would remain within an affordable range for project funding.

Preliminary studies (APS) to modernize the irrigation system and infrastructure for harvesting and post-harvest processing of banana perimeters along the Gambia River.

Detailed topographic surveys of the Sambagara Valley and RN13-Daré Salam Valley crossing and topographical surveys of the Bananerais areas bordering the Gambia River and determination of the areas flooded by the floods of the river.

A geotechnical study to recognize borrow pits, to determine the technical characteristics of building materials and soils.
