NEW AWARD IN COSTA RICA - "Management Control System (SISCOG)" within the framework of the Border Integration Program (PIF)

NEW AWARD IN COSTA RICA!

AESA is proud to announce that it has been awarded with the project "Management Control System (SISCOG)", within the framework of the Border Integration Program (PIF) financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

The project will be implemented in Consortium our partner with Ernst&Young (EY).

  • GENERAL OBJECTIVE:

To technically design, as well as develop and implement the SISCOG for the Costa Rican Border Posts, integrating the following components:

  1. State-of-the-art local control devices for each border post, such as cameras, access, RFID, scales, plate readers, container information, etc.
  2. Modern controllers that by means of the appropriate interfaces allow the integration of the information of the previous devices in the system and all this in a coordinated and interacting way.
  3. Advanced computing equipment and local or cloud servers.
  • PURPOSE:

To carry out the Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation of SISCOG understood as a system conformed through the integration of physical components (devices), computer programs and interfaces, which operate in a coordinated manner and interacting with each other and with the National Integrated Risk Management System (SINIGER) or other systems (such as may be the TICA), streamlining the control of the flow of people, transport and goods entering or leaving the country through the border checkpoints of, among others, Peñas Bancas, Paso Canoas, Las Tablillas and Sabalito.

  1. OUTCOME 1: To have the SISCOG for the Costa Rican Border Checkpoints and that it integrates all the requested components.
  2. OUTCOME 2: Ensure the development of the System according to an exhaustive implementation of standards and methodologies that allow verifying its quality, security and scalability.
  3. OUTPUT 3: To ensure the future sustainability of SISCOG, by means of an adequate transfer of knowledge and training to the people of the linked institutions, in its use, maintenance, operation and evolution.

The project  will be managed by Fernando Bejerano, Ferdinando Didonna and Ernesto Mejía-Traña.
